One problem related to air brake antilock has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My 2000 chevy Blazer (88k mi. ) had both the abs system light and emergency brake light come on. I have also experienced strange abs activation even at low speed and light brake application. My dealer said the abs controller is faulty. I have found numerous descriptions of these very same symtoms from other owners as well as TSB references to this defect. This looks like a trend and a design flaw and a saftey issue. This should be investigated and the abs controller system should be recalled.
