One problem related to infant child seat base has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The adjustable pedestal on the seat base occasionally collapses when it is subjected to high temperatures. Including the interior of the vehicle in the summertime. The plastic would become very pliable also when pressing the base into the seat during installation, the adjustment notches slipped.
