Two problems related to spare tire have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle has a dangerous blind spot because of the location of the spare tire.
The spare tire on this vehicle is situated in a spot where it is impossible to see directly behind your vehicle. This blind spot can lead to an accident and not being able to move out of the way for police and medical vehicles. I have contacted gmac and received no reply. I have had several individual sit in the vehicle and all claim that they are unable to see. The tire covers more than 1/2 the rear window.
