general problems of the 2001 Chevrolet Blazer

Fuel gage fluctuates between empty and 1/3 full without warning. This happens in park and when driving. You never know how much gas you have. I have seen it drop form 1/4 full to completely empty in seconds. I have run out of gas on way to work when gas gage said 1/4 full when I started off to work, only a couple of miles away. I have told local chevy dealer ( h & h ) about problem when having service but they said that was not a problem, was probably because you were on a slope. This has been an ongoing problem since I originally purchased SUV new.

When using regular or mid-grade fuels, gas gauge has a tendancy not to work correctly.
