Two problems related to exterior rearview mirror have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer stated that due to the outside rearview mirror being electric it would be hard to move or not move at all. Dealer notified.
Power memory outside mirrors move on their own to positions outside driver's field of vision. Mirrors tilt down in reverse but fail to return to previous position when vehicle is taken out of reverse. Dealer contacted technical assistance at general motors who suggested to rebuild body control module -- did not correct problem. Technical assistance reports 4 similar defects with the same vehicle and states may be problem with the amount of memory alloted to mirrors. Tan case #5205486. Thus far, a solution is reported unavailable.
