Two problems related to front seat belt buckle assembly have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Blazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Passenger side seat belt locks in place must be disconnected in order to try to make it work.
Front passenger's side seatbelt system locks up as if an automatic locking restraint. Owner's manual state's that this belt is used for a child restraint. No other seatbelts in this vehicle locks up like the front seatbelt does. Also, there is an airbag present in the front passenger's side.
