Getting stuck on the highways because false reading of the fuel. This has happen two time. After to repaire it with only 27000 miles. So this means every few thousand miles I have to replaced this fuel.

The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving 72 mph, the check engine light illuminated and the fuel gauge dial switched to empty. The contact drove to the dealer and they stated that the entire fuel system needed to be replaced. The contact did not leave the vehicle at the dealer due to the repair cost and lack of warranty. In addition, there was no recall available. The vehicle was taken to an oil shop and the mechanic stated that the fuel sensor failed and had to be repaired at the contact's expense. The failure mileage was 51,000 and current mileage was 54,847.
Fuel gauge problem on my 2006 chev. Trailblazer. Once filled it goes to empty and moves to full whenever it wants to. Very annoying and makes me record miles to know how much gas I have. Dealer quoted 400. 00 to 500. 00 to repair. Time for a recall. This started at 38,000 miles.
