The gas gauge on our 2007 chevy trailblazer has stopped working. This nearly caused an accident because suddenly I thought I was leaking gas on the freeway after recently filling up. The car is 3 years and 2 months old with 42,000 miles. This seems to be a common defect judging by the complaints on the internet. Chevy/gm will not provide any assistance in fixing this known defect other than charging $800+.
