The contact stated that while his daughter was driving 30 mph, the vehicle lost traction. The contact stated that the rear driver’s side tire low air warning light was illuminated. The contact stated he also experienced the same failure with his vehicle. The contact stated all eight tires were bald on both vehicles. The contact took both vehicles to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed with needing all eight tires to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 21,000.

2 Tire problem

Failure Date: 11/08/2022

The contact owns a 2021 Chevrolet Blazer equipped with continental tires, tire line: crosscontact lx sport, tire size: 235/65/r18, dot number: a3lmwd304920. The contact stated that the tread on all four tires were worn. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that the tires needed to be replaced. The contact was informed that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 20t018000 (tires). The tires were not replaced. The manufacturer was contacted and confirmed that the tires were not included in the recall. The contact was advised to contact the NHTSA hotline to file a complaint. The failure mileage was 20,000.
