On two separate occasions the vehicle lost all power while driving. On December 5, 2025 turning on to a main road from parking lot the vehicle shut off with no prior warning lights. Shifted vehicle to park. No power to anything, unable to unlock doors, unable to turn on hazard flashers, stuck in the middle of the road at night. Waited a minute and pressed the start button and vehicle started with no problem. Again, on February 24 , 2026 making a left turn in intersection, without any warning the vehicle shut off… no power at all. Stuck in middle of road with no lights , no hazard flashers ,unable to get out of the car. Few minutes later vehicle started again. The vehicle did not stall while stopped, it completely lost power while moving. Reported problem to west herr Chevrolet of hamburg NY , brought vehicle in to dealership on February 25, 2026 and they were “unable to duplicate the concerns” the dealership paperwork states that the vehicle stalled while stopped, this vehicle lost all power while it was moving. We now have the vehicle back in our possession but are extremely concerned for our safety and the safety of others.
Telecommunications module failed - no onstar, no navigation which means no help to find charging station, and mychevrolet app remote connection is not functional. Local dealer states this is a known issue but there is a significant backlog to investigate, and no loaner vehicles available. Wide spread issue across many gm vehicles. Very disappointing experience including service repair. Due to lack of loaner I am unable to drop off as this is my primary driven vehicle.
Telematics control module failure.
Published date: 09/6/2024 preliminary information pit6231 poor sound quality on a phone call gm dealers are not recognizing this service bulletin to remedy the microphone issue. This is a life safety issue and a formal recall notice should be issued. Reason if the driver or passenger is injured in the vehicle the same microphone is used to communicate with the sos and on start. When some one is incapacitated or suffered an injury they would not normally be able to speak in such a loud volume for the recipient to hear and when the person speaking who has been injured is forced to yell into the microphone (if able) the receiving end only will her distorted audio,. It is for the reasons set forth above I respectively ask that this be considered a recall and not addressed by a service bulletin.
The infotainment system of a brand new 2025 Blazer ev is doing blackouts, flickers, and changing commands and requests. While this may sound trivial - and if this system just did the radio - I would agree. However it controls most all the sub-systems of the car from charging, to display, to gps, environmental, etc. While at home it is just annoying and frustrating - we traveled to va from FL this past week. Traffic was horrendous due to a closure of i95 in SC - all traffic was forced onto 2 lane country roads. Attempting to use the controls, adjust gps for alternatives, and adjusting displays - the glitches were causing either unexpected actions - or distracting longer than expected and causing near accidents. In addition I report that the "collision avoidance" is marginal or dangerous. Dangerous with it engaging maximum braking for a marker-barrel that no where near my path - to not engaging well enough when vehicles were rapidly braking (and they did not have brake lights). Finally - the gps system "changes" destinations on its own. Again with the display flashing and blacking out - it is difficult to notice these "changes" when travelling on back-roads with insanely heavy traffic.
This is a report of defective software that could increase the chances of an accident, injury and or death. This vehicle features a built-in garage door remote which is utilized exclusively through the touch screen. However, when the vehicle is in reverse the backup cameras restrict access to the needed menu. After backing up and putting the car in drive there is a delay before the back up camera turns off. This creates a situation in which the driver must wait in the middle of the road after placing the car in drive before being able to close the garage door. In seeking solutions from online forums, some drivers have reported their Blazer evs allow the button to be accessed while others report they do not, so I speculated perhaps I missed a software update, but per the car's ota system, the vehicle's software is current as of the time of this submission. I have recorded a video that I am happy to share , however it exceeds the size limit allowed for uploads in this report.
My windshield is defected with no real time when a replacement can be ordered. . The interior lining is not sealed properly which is causing a buckling effect by drivers and passengers visors. . Rain is getting inside and soaking into the dashboard causing the electrical system on screens to blink in and out finally my brake harness is still on recall and my car has been shifting into park which could cause severe problems if I am on the highway. .
Multiple safety-critical malfunctions have occurred on this vehicle involving unintended braking, unintended acceleration, and false activation of driver-assist systems. These events did not happen at the same time and occurred under normal driving conditions. At various points, the vehicle has suddenly applied the brakes without driver input, including hard braking events that felt like an automatic emergency braking activation when no hazard was present. In separate incidents, the parking brake has engaged while the vehicle was in motion, causing abrupt deceleration. There have also been instances of unintended acceleration where the vehicle surged forward briefly without additional throttle input. These malfunctions appear to be related to electrical or adas system faults affecting braking logic and propulsion control. No warning lamps or messages reliably appeared before these events. The issues pose a serious risk to the safety of the driver and others because the vehicle’s behavior is unpredictable and can interfere with safe control. The dealership was unable to reproduce the conditions during inspection, but the incidents have occurred multiple times in real-world use.
