Water has infiltrated the lower trunk area and fried the sound amplifier. The result is no sounds can be heard from the speakers. This includes sounds and warnings from the safety systems. Seat belt, adas, blis, onstar, turn signals, radio. The rear hatch seals seem to be intact and it is unclear how water is entering this lower area as there is no evidence of water anywhere else in the rear cargo area. We are a municipally owned electric utility. We were notified of gm safety recall n222383791 on January 26, 2023, we have been unable to use our ev chevy bolt since that date due to the fact that this vehicle is driven by employees and we do not want to be liable if injury occurs. As of 3/20/23, the ev concierge told us that the part is not available yet. We need a solution soon.
My driver's side seatbelt buckle will not latch onto the tongue. Sometimes I can get the buckle to latch onto the tongue by aggressively and repeatedly jamming the tongue into the buckle. Most of the time the tongue will not latch into the buckle. In the event of an accident, I'm concerned that the buckle will not hold due to this intermittent latching issue.
Gm recall #: n222383791 NHTSA #: 22v930 date issued: Dec 15, 2022 brought my vehicle in to complete repairs for recall on 1/12/23. Was told that a remedy is not available despite recall being issued since 12/15/22.
Parking brake engages sporadically and automatically and sometime produce loud grinding noise in front of the car. Passenger rear middle seatbelt is not retracting automatically and is not self adjusting. Reverse camera has changed from a full screen view to a smaller screen with wide bars left and bottom of the image that now is hard to see. I believe this changed due to a software update with no warning. Dealer requests me to pay for this issues to be inspected. I believe this are safety concerns and chevy should recall them.
Our brand new car is giving us a “service safety restraint system” warning. It constantly comes on and off over and over every minute or so and chevy is saying there is nothing wrong with the car. Please help.

Center seat belt of back seat is fully extended and will not retract. This prevents the seat belt to be held snugly against the body or car seat.
