Wheel problem #1

Steering not returning to center, when making a turn across the street you have to quickly center the vehicle to prevent going into on coming traffic. Very stiff to turn and make popping sounds when turning.

Wheel problem #2

Creaking/popping noise from passenger rear side of vehicle at 24,574 miles along with a grinding noise coming from the front driver side wheel. Took to dealership twice and was told there is not a rear axle just independent struts and shocks. Very concerning and not sure if a wheel is gonna fall off. I've seen other forums that have been having the same issue between the years 2017-2019. Please recall and fix because consumers shouldn't shell out more money for cheap parts.

Wheel problem #3

"ttirs dont self seal" I immediately advised that this was due to a defect in workmanship of the self seal tires. I quoted the following paragraph on self sealing tires from the michelin oe warranty manual. Michelin tires with the self-seal logo are covered under this warranty. These tires are designed to seal in the event of a puncture, and have specific instructions for repair by tire professionals at michelin authorized dealers. There are two areas where we have a problem. 1) if the tire fails to seal itself then it is not operating as designed and therefore has a defect in workmanship. 2) the warranty specifically says they can be "repaired" by a michelin authorized dealer. I contacted 3 michelin dealers and all of them said they do not repair self seal tires. The fourth michelin dealer was costco and they told me they could repair it in error. They had never seen a self seal tire before, never received any training from michelin on the repair of said tires, and when presented with the product bulletin on how to repair the tires still refused to repair it. After a lot of haggling I was able to get michelin to agree to pay 50% . I am still waiting on the exact amount of the reimbursement and so this has not been completely resolved as yet. My total out of pocket for 4 new non self seal tires is $870. 01. I could have saved about $40 by not getting the lifetime rotation/balance/flat repair. . Read more...

Wheel problem #4

While driving the speed limit of 45 miles per hour, the car jolted and lights in the car went on. Transmission light, brake light, stability track light, service park assist light, service steering light, etc. This caused me a challenge in driving the car on a two lane road because the steering became more difficult and there was not a big enough shoulder to pull onto the side of the road. Bring car into dealer and find that the front wheel bearing and hub need to be replaced, the first time this occurred was when the brand new car was about a year old (we did have 18311 miles on the vehicle). About a year later (15 months later), the same incident occurred and the same parts needed to be replaced again. However, we were outside of the warranty due to mileage and they no longer wanted to replace the broken parts under warranty. The same parts should not go out year after year on a brand new car! we asked if there was a recall on parts and were told no. The part numbers on both invoices - sl-n-washer (04710-c); sl-n- nut (06056-bc); sl-n-washer (06056-c); sl-*-n- bearing (060311-c).

Wheel problem #6

While in motion the car began to erratically speed up & slow down without the driver depressing either the acceleration pedal or the brake. The result was the jumping & bucking of the car & passengers within. Upon taking the car to chevy repair, it was discovered that the wheel speed sensor was damaged because of a faulty washer in the axle that broke. The broken washer parts entered the wheel hub, damaging both the wheel hub & the speed sensor.

Wheel problem #7
