Brake Electric Antilock Problems of Chevrolet C15

Gm vehicles, corrosion may cause anti-lock brake system (abs) activation. The consumer stated he received a recall notice in the mail. The recall stated if the repairs had already been made, send in the receipt. The consumer was told he did not qualify for reimbursement because it was a canadian recall. The right inner tie rod was loose.

When traveling about 30-35 mph and upon making a sudden stop on dry pavement the brake pedal went to the floorboard, causing extended stopping distance, and resulting in an accident. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has yet to replace any parts, unable to determine the cause. Please provide any further details.

Abs brake problem; on normal road conditions, under heavy braking, the back wheels slide and pedal goes down to the floorboard. The problem has not been corrected.
