Three problems related to fuel injection have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both my 1996 and 1997 Chevrolet C1500's have experienced failed fuel injectors. The 1997 Chevrolet needed 6 new fuel injectors at approximately 13,000 miles. The 1996 Chevrolet had one injector replaced at 48,500 miles. Both vehicles were purchased used.
Fuel injection failed.
When removing foot from gas vehicles speed does not decrease, speed remains the same for several miles in first and second gear.
