One problem related to front seat belt buckle assembly has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Front lap belt on passenger side tightens on passenger so much that you have to remove belt every now and then and rebuckle to relieve the tension. Chevy dealer ordered 2 different belts, then said it is designed that way and charged us $141 and we still have the very same problem. Dealer is not able to fix problem.
