Two problems related to vehicle speed control have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While traveling in vehicle at 50-60mph,the engine had revved up from 1600 to 2200 rpms. This has happened 3 different times. Took vehicle to dealer. Was test driven & nothing found. Vehicle put on diagnostic machine & nothing showed up.
When driving engine revs high and will not slow down unless brakes are applied. Dealer has no solution.
