One problem related to air brake wheel speed sensor has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet C1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Antilock brakes activate at under 10 miles an hour on drive pavement causing stoping distance to significantly increase. Several times had a near accident. Chevy cleaned and repaired front wheel speed sensors and then replaced the left front. Total cost of repairs was $650.
