Failure Date: 11/30/2001

Consumer was traveling about 65mph on highway to make a exit onto another ramp and without prior warning vehicle shut off. Consumer was able to pull over to shoulder. A few minutes later, vehicle turned back on. He was able to make it home. Dealership was aware of problem. Mechanic told consumer that connectors to positive battery cable were defective. Mechanic replaced cable.

2 Battery Cable problem of the 1999 Chevrolet C1500

Failure Date: 08/20/2001

While traveling at about 70 mph abs light came on, and abs motor continued to run, won't shut off. Battery terminal burned off as a result of abs failure. Dealer has been contacted. Please provide any further information.
