Front Air Bag Problems of Chevrolet C1500

I was traveling approx 25 mph in the rainy, wet evening of June 15, 2010 at 10:30 pm traveling east on cr 87 and turning to get up on the overpass bridge of exit 234. I started to hydroplane when I hit the gravel, rock part of the road and skidded into the right side of the bridge hitting my passenger tire and bouncing me out and spinning around. I tried to compensate by applying brakes gently and my brakes locked up, my seat belt did not hold me back as I hit the steering wheel with my head and chest. I then was spun head on into the left side of the bridge and smashed the entire front end of my truck. I was so scared and all I could think is when is my airbag going to go off, it never did. There is over $5000. 00 damage to my vehicle and it is only worth $8000. 00. I went to the er and suffered mild concussion, neck strain and bruised chest.

Employee was traveling on the interstate, had to brake hard to avoid traffic, and was struck in rear by a vehicle doing approx 50 mph. It pushed him into vehicle in front damaging the front of vech. No airbag deployed! the force of the impact knocked him unconscious.

The event was a crash of my 1998 Chevrolet silverado p/u. The crash was a forward moving impact to the side of another vehicle with a speed of 40 mph. And the air bags didn't deploy. The results was the driver impacted the steering wheel as of today only minor pain and bruises are evident. The is the first failure of this system I know of. I have tried to deploy the air bag form a 1995 Buick and it didn't fire also, what is the problem with this system. This incident could have resulted in the death of the driver.

My son's 2002 Chevrolet extended cab pu truck was struck in the drivers side door, forced off the road, went head first through an iron 6' fence, down a 7' embankment and struck a stone pillar head on and his air bad did not deploy.

While traveling about 75mph on the highway she took off the cruise control. And without prior warning the consumer lost control of the vehicle and hit an embankment. The dual airbags didn't deploy at all. Please fill in additional information dealer is aware of the problem. Ts.

While traveling on highway and without prior warning vehicle veered off the road and hit a tree. Upon impact, airbags didn't go off. Dealership was aware of problem.

Consumer was traveling about 45mph on highway and he was struck by another vehicle. He was hit by a t-bone fashion. Upon impact, frontal airbags didn't deploy. The dealership was contacted. Driver suffered minor injuries.

Owner drove approximately 65mph when right tire left road. Overcorrected to left & went off road. Vehicle went airborne & landed in ditch, front end first. Neither air bags deployed at time. Vehicle proceeded to flip over after impact. Driver suffered right knee & hip injury. No seat belts on. Had emergency treatment. Vehicle was totaled.
