Four problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet C2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Submission regarding automobile accident caused by bf goodrich tires (land terrain lt 245/75r 16 load range e dot n911) seeking reimbursement for repairs. While driving the consumer noticed a severe vibration. As the consumer pulled over to inspect the vehicle the passenger side rear tire blewout. The blowout damaged the right rear quarter panel, muffler, muffler support and tail pipe. It appear to the consumer that the tire tread separated and caused the tire to blowout.
Tire tread separation and blow out.
While driving, the front passenger side tire experienced tread separation, which caused severe damage to the front end. Please provide additional information.
While driving rear tire blew out. When the consumer inspected the vehicle he noticed that the outer belt of the driver's side rear tire separated.
