One problem related to electrical system has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet C2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Truck had hard time starting when cold for 2 weeks prior to truck not starting at all. Took truck in was told fuel pump shorted , melted wire harness and fuel pump module melted. Half of engine compartment wire harness melted also. Was told by mechanic we were very lucky that the truck did not explode. This is to cost $1800. 00 in repairs.
