One problem related to gasoline engine has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet C2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Carbon buildup. The truck has been in the shop 3 times for what the dealer says is carbon buildup. It happens about every 2500 miles. The last time in the dealer said chevy knew it had a problem with the design of the pistons. The new pistons would be out in late 2001 or early 2002 and to keep driving it for now.
