One problem related to gasoline engine has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet C3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states the the distributor gear teeth broke, causing the engine to shut off while the consumer was still driving, which almost caused loss of control. Nlm the gear teeth broke because of excessive wear on the teeth of the distributor gear. The distributor shaft is slightly bent.
