Five problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet C3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Antilock brakes always activate when braking at slow speeds, was told by chevy dealer there is a recall but not on my vehicle.
Applied abs brakes at 40 mph . Brakes started to catch then went to floor causing increased stoppping distance and vehicle collision.
When applying brakes at 30mph pedal went to floor ,resulting in extended stopping distance, and causing a collision and injury. Dealer and manufacturer has been notified.
Vehicle has had several problems with braking system. Dealer has repaired and replaced several parts of braking system, but problems still exists.
Had applied gas to speed up and it would go back. Engine kept revving, but remained at same speed. Abs would kick in on any slippery surface. Right front tire grabbed, hard, and then locked up when brakes were applied. At dealership all brake parts were repaired or replaced.
