One problem related to underhood wiring has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet C3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Had parked vehicle & went around to rear of truck. Driver smelled smoke & noticed that it coming from underhood. Lifted hood & the electrical wire harness was on fire. Consumer extinguished the flames. Took truck to dealership. Mechanic could not locate origin of fire or cause.
