One problem related to engine stall has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet C3500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Security system cut power to fuel pump stopping engine, a reset takes 10 minutes. The gm help line provided me with the method of reseting the security system. Gm's help line admits this is a problem, but has no current factory upgrade or repair. The engine stalls shortly after starting, allwoing the vehicle to be moved a few feet (in my case out of the driveway).
