Truck shuts down while moving down the highway. This is a 1996 Chevrolet C3500 diesel. Parts were covered under warranty until 120,000 miles. Problem never solved and vehicle still shuts down and you have no control.
The wiper motor will stop and start without warning during rain or snow. There is a recall on wiper motors for either 1997 or 1996 and older chevy trucks, but not the 1998's. If you check the wiper motors in each year you'll find they are the same one. Creates a vision hazard while driving.

The fuel leak could cause to pushed past the piston rings into the crankcase, and a hairline crack in the fuel rail also caused fuel into the crankcase. Also, the leak of fuel and oil has caused check engine light to turn on. General motors won't replace fuel injector or fuel rail until it has failed.
