Two problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Camaro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle may operate normally for up to 3 days. Without any warning the vehicle will begin to vary between 800 to 1800 rpm. If at a light or a stop sign you have to apply the break and keep the rpm (with the gas pedal), above the varying rpm, to keep the vehicle from stalling. The vehicle 50% of the time, lately will stall after the above described procedure, or drive of f. The vehicle isn't driven anymore. While driving the vehicle stalls unexpectedly which may result in a crash. Dealer cannot determine the cause. Gm has provided no assistance.
