Two problems related to brake disc pads have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Camaro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rotors and pads were replaced every 15,000 miles. Consumer stated rotors and pads were replaced three times.
When the brakes are applied there is a severe squeak, and the pedal will depress all the way to the floor. The system takes extra seconds to kick in and stop as it should. Dealer has been contacted, they replaced the rotors five times and the pads seven times.
