1 Electrical Failure problem

Failure Date: 02/28/2006

-the contact owns a 2001 Chevrolet camry. There was an odd noise at the time of purchase. She was told that the spare tire was loose. The contact was later notified by an independent mechanic that the noise was due to the ball bearings. The estimate to repair the vehicle was $500 per wheel to replace the ball bearings. The electric doors and the heating elements also exhibited failures periodically. The contact stated that there are several electrical failures. The tie rod fractured on the vehicle while driving 30 to 40 mph. The vehicle was driven to the mechanic and they were able to provide a temporary fix, she was able to drive the vehicle. The current mileage was 125,779 and the failure mileage was 113,000. The VIN is not available.

2 Electrical Failure problem

Failure Date: 10/21/2003

While driving at any speed electrical system failed intermittently, causing vehicle to shut off. Dealer stated there was no solution for the problem because they could not find the electrical short.
