Equipment problem #1

I was driving my vehicle to school, and all the sudden I get a message saying "engine power reduced!" as soon as that happened, my vehicle's speed decreased rapidly. Making it hard to keep up at the same speed as traffic, I plugged my scan tool. And engine codes: p2138 and p2127 appeared on the reading. My check engine light is still on, and I noticed I see a flashing red color where my brake and gas pedal are located. I suspect its my accelerator pedal position sensor that malfunctioned or, my throttle body position sensor. But still I feel very unsafe driving the vehicle, the engine power is running extremely poorly. I would like to get a free repair and inspection of from a chevy dealer, I will continue driving the vehicle until the problem is fixed!.

Equipment problem #2

Ldrivi at 40 mph on a 45 mph street a car suddenly braked ahead of me I bumped my ignition key fob unintentionally when I went to react quick and went to brake and suddenly the car went off I went to swerve as quickly as I could to not rear end the person upfront but the wheel locked and it was so hard to turn that I even hurt my shouldn’t from trying to avoid the car in front but t ended with me crashing the vehicle rear right corner/sideswiped my car and front driver side airbag failed to deployed. 1 month ago three way Chevrolets denied me service for discriminationsl reasons and denied me the repair of u ignition key recall which was never fixed I never got a new programmed key they denied me the rep pair without me paying them 800$ and I couldn’t afford 800 so they denied me service and only gave me a blank uncut key or even programmed they admired to saying they couldn’t repair my recall so they didn’t follow proper protocols and reported. To you as repaired when service documents. Provided by them state they did not in fact repair my recall and denied me the service of the repair which unethical and put my life in danger and others I could have died or cause have liked someone for three ways Chevrolets unethical negligence and making failed reports for unrepairwd recalls.

Equipment problem #3

When shifting the vehicle from 1st gear to second gear, the vehicle makes a grinding noise and struggles to go into gear. It seems to happen more often when trying to shift it when it is at a higher gear. All the other gears seem to never have a problem shifting.

Equipment problem #4

Code u0100 vehicle shows reduced power and stops while driving and will not restart. Also say service stabiltrak have heard that a lot of gm vehicles experience the same problem. Very dangerous because the vehicles can just shut down at anytime.

Equipment problem #5

As I search the web for my hvac problem and learn there is a defect with hvac blen doors. Either your vehicle is extremely cold or hot or possibly hot on one side and cold on the other. The uncontrolled heat can put you to sleep behind the wheel on driving trip. I believe gm is aware of the problem but refuse to recall. This not a normal wear and tear part. There our thousands of Camaro owners with this problem and the dealership is charging up to 3000. 00 to repair. Hope you can help!!!!!!.

Equipment problem #6

I have a ignition key recall, I have contacted currie motor Chevrolet in forest park, IL to fix recall. Was told they had to order a part on December 9, I contact again on December 21 still no response. My onstar also require I get the recall fix.

Equipment problem #7

The steering wheel always shakes and grinds. The brakes squeal for no reason. The engine makes a loud noise and sounds louder at running now, I hade it looked at and they said nothing is wrong there is something wrong it uses way to much gas and it makes to many noises. The engine just does not sound good and it makes a loud grounding noise.

Equipment problem #8

I have got alot of sensors going out at one time . Now the car is over heating and fans and fuilds are good . Nothing is showing on a computer for a code!.

Equipment problem #9

I brought brand new 2011 from chevy paul conte in freeport long island. Since 2012 I was get big leak from the convertible roof that was leak it in car behind passenger seat. I complaint 5 different occasions and chevy would say their nothing wrong. So I decided get extend after market warranty after factory warranty ran out. When 1st thing happen to chevy I include leak roof. Do you know they found problem in one hour. I still have all paper work for everything. Said they couldnt cover it. Which their not surpose. But show chevy lieing game. I told owner ken and all my paper work. The manager was upset and give ken some problem til ken owner broke it down to him. Manger claim I'm get free work done mean while it should cover under warranty. They claim to fix never get leak water in car no more. But did notice I hear water ocean when going up the hill. Than one day 4 months ago while driving car just cut off. I didnt know what to do call my guy. He cut the battery but that the truck was wet. In back of my trunk. He said you haven't noticed he said you see water mark's. I was shock. He open my truck to see battery. And entire battery was sitting water for real. I was hurt and angry cause should be going threw this. I been have problems with this convertible since I brought this car brand new. I also have video and pics.

Equipment problem #10

Punching.

Equipment problem #11

I took the car to nash Chevrolet in lawrenceville, GA for the recall work on the fob (#14294). They performed the work according to the gm process. The result is unacceptable. Now I have a hole where the key was which is susceptible to dirt and water. See attached picture. The dealer will not correct and defers to the gm. Gm will not correct. You initiated the corrective work and must have approved the process. You all ought to be ashamed of yourselves! I've seen on the internet a replacement plastic "cover" that could be inserted but was never offered the solution. The fee was rumored to be $46. Again, you all ought to be ashamed of yourselves! don't you think a small circuit board open to the environments is just as dangerous not to mention aesthetically unpleasing? at a minimum, I am requesting the appropriate corrective action to be taken and the NHTSA re-open the case and investigate!.

Equipment problem #12

The drivers front wheel has a really funny feel when turning left it dont feel right. ?my tire sencors are not working on the dash just 1 tire works and tells me the air presure since I had the car in 2017?.

Equipment problem #13

Air bag sensor is always coming on and dings every few minutes. . . . Whether or not there is someone in the passenger seat or not, whether its in drive or in park, when it goes off, I turn the switch to disregard the notification and it comes on every few minutes. . . . Also, the evaporator core kit needs replaced, which is about $2000 and 20 hours of labor due to having to remove windsheild. Heater and defrost work fine but ac will not cool, smells funny inside the car and makes noise when you try to turn on a/c. Thankfully its fall. . No recalls but found lots of complaints on the a/c and 2011 Chevrolet Camaros. The a/c started slowly getting less and less cool each day then the last day before it quit, the driver side wouldnt cool at all but the passenger side would. Put in refrigerant and it cooled for a couple more days then just quit cooling. 75,000 miles, had it 5 years 1 month, no warranty. Dont want to pay that much to cool my car, will not purchase another Camaro! not happy.

Equipment problem #14

Left work to grab dinner with a coworker who rode in the passenger front seat. After going into pick up our dinner my coworker noticed fluid on my passenger side front floor mat. I drove back to work and checked the fluid on the mat and it was coolant (dexcool). Drove home and checked the mat again and there was more fluid. I used a mirror and flashlight to look under the dash inboard of the glove box and with the heat on and fan running found fluid leaking from the plastic pan under the heater core.

Equipment problem #15

Heater core went out in my car with 12167 miles. The car is stored in the garage every winter and not driven. I called customer care for Chevrolet and did not get any where. With the mileage being so low I'm concern the part is faulty or put in my car wrong. Please help me this is not right.

Equipment problem #16

I was told last year that I had a bad transmission due to water damage to my vehicle and that they would not cover the repair because they said that I drove it through water which was not true so, I had to pay a $250. 00ded out of pocket, and $3856. 97 was paid by my insurance company. Not even 2 months later the same problem. The car will drive and then it will stop on you and not change into gear. The car has been in the shop about 8 times for the same problem and they can't seem to tell me what the problem is. Who can I contact to help me with this issue since the manufacturer cant tell what's wrong with their own product.

Equipment problem #17

Vapor began coming in through the air vents, along with a super-sweet smell; this smell was later identified as leaking engine coolant. The front windshield quickly fogged up, beginning on the passenger side, and absolutely would not clear. Using the vehicle's defrost only increased the windshield fogging and severely decreased visibility. Fogging and visibility is worse when the weather is cool or it is raining, and the coolant smell inside the car can make you sick and give you headaches. Fog-free window treatment is ineffective. Taken to the Chevrolet dealership service center, the Camaro has a bad heater core - to fix this extremely hazardous issue, the Camaro's windshield must be taken out along with the dash and seats just to gain access to the heater core. . . At a cost around $2,000 and over a week in the service center. . . Beware this is not covered under chevy's powertrain warranty (the heater core is excluded). This is a very common problem with newer model Camaros and should be a gm recall by now. I was able to pull off the interstate before my visibility was reduced to zero. . . Somebody else may not be so lucky, or may not know what's going on when their windshield begins to fog.

Equipment problem #18

I want to inform you the vehicle dealership blew me off when it came to getting my vehicle recall completed. The following is what I went through with garber automall, 3340 highway 17, green cove springs, florida to get them to process my vehicle recall. As the consumer I was stuck between the manufacturer of the vehicle and the vehicle dealership. August 2014, I received a recall letter on my 2011 Chevrolet Camaro’s ignition key, recall number 14294. At that time, I telephoned garber automall to make an appointment to get the recall completed. They told me the recall was “optional” and I did not have to get it done, if I did not want to. I re-read the recall letter from Chevrolet and did not find the word “optional” mentioned. On 28 October 2014, I wrote Chevrolet, attn: jim moloney, general director, customer & relationship services, post office box 909989, milwaukee, WI, who I received the recall letter from and told him the dealership is telling me the recall is “optional. ” I did not receive an answer from jim moloney. Then I started receiving post cards from recall information processing center, post office box 909989, milwaukee, WI, stating their records showed I had not completed the recall service on my vehicle. True because the vehicle dealership told me the recall was “optional. ” on 15 Jan 2015, I took my vehicle in for 15,000 mile maintenance. Again, I mentioned my recall and was told it was “optional. ” I told the dealership I wanted it done because my recall paperwork says nothing about “optional. ” on 2 Feb 2015, I finally got the recall completed. Since going through this frustration with my first vehicle recall, I can fully understand why consumers ignore vehicle recalls. I was ready to pack it up and purchase myself a horse and buggy.

Equipment problem #19

Gm safety recall 14294, we had no issues with the ignition key prior to the recall. We took our Camaro to the gm dealership, had the recall taken care of. Upon driving the Camaro after the ignition key was changed due to the recall, it is now more of a safety hazard with the key actually dangling down on our knee/legs while driving. We would appreciate the opportunity to get the previous ignition key refigured as it was when we purchased the Camaro as we had no problems/issues with it prior to following the recall instructions of taking our Camaro to the dealer.

Equipment problem #20

Ac started to blow out really cold air (could see the cold air coming out) and would hear the compressor being turned on and off and then no more cold air would blow out. Took it in to the dealer and they said it was the condenser. Purchased a condenser and another mechanic said that the compressor would not turn on. Researched problems and seems that it has something to do with the control module not communicating with compressor to turn on and off. I can not find any recalls or a dealer that will repair this or if this is even what it is.

Equipment problem #21

I had just purchased this Camaro in February, not knowing that these tires were not to be used in cold weather. We had some very cold weather in the last part of February and I decided to take the Camaro to work. When I entered the paved road it started to spin the tires on the pavement. There was no moisture on the roads and no reason to loose traction. When I got home I researched this problem on line and found out about the tires being warm weather tires only. I think Chevrolet should replace the tires with all weather tires. Ps tires were not listed I had to use unknown or other to be able to use this site. Thanks.

Equipment problem #22

After having been replaced under warranty, the convertible top suddenly came alose at the mounting points behind the side windows. It was as if a parachute, or a drag chute opened. This startled the driver into steering sharply towards the shoulder, causing the car to spin out and resulted in a neck pain in the driver.

Equipment problem #23

Vehicle was purchased not knowing there was a problem with the convertible tops. Top started coming in a whole so took to dealership and would not fix. Filed a complaint with gm they put a new top on it then had to have new frame because it was bent picked up last week and now top has pulled away from windows after top had been on car less than a week. If we were to be in a wreck back passenger's arm could go out opening and be cut off. Gm needs to be made to purchase these cars back before someone gets killed, have material where people have posted these tops coming completely off cars going down the road once they separate from windows as mine have. I am scared to drive my car and it has stayed in the shop more than I have got to drive it. Back floor board is wet from water pouring in where opening is and it sounds like a train is coming through you car their so much wind noise.

Equipment problem #24

My air bag light has been on for 2 years now. I have took my car to the dealership 7 times to get this problem fixed. My vehicle was under warranty when I took it in so I didn't have to pay any money for the services. Out of all seven times they never fixed the air bag. Now I brought it in again and they are charging me $109 for services to fix my airbag. The air bag light has been on for 2 years, meaning if I get into a wreck my airbag won't work. Every time my car was released from the service department my air bag light immediately came back on after the passenger seat was adjusted. I suppose all they did was wiggle the wire under the passenger seat to get the air bag light to go off in order to return my car to me knowing that it wasn't fixed. Now they are charging me money to get the air bag fixed when it's not my fault the airbag doesn't work. I believe the manufacturer should be at fault for this problem. In addition, while my car was in the dealership services department they provided me with a rental from enterprise. But they used my insurance company instead of paying $17 a day for enterprises's insurance company. I believe this is wrong because it is the manufacturer's fault that my air bag system doesn't work properly and they should pay for enterprise's insurance on the rental car I was provided with. The trunk of my car also is broke and they are charging me $182 in order to get it fixed but I have full coverage warranty on my vehicle.
