general problems of the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro

Car only has today 46,500 miles and passenger airbag sensor stopped working last year,started intermittenly working after 30,000 miles and now completely not working, repeated problem for all chevy Camaros having this problem with few miles on cars and barely any passengers sitting in seat to activate use.

Driver side rear floor area floods every single time it rains. It's been like this since I owned the car. I have a 2012 convertible Camaro.

When it rains and/or wash the vehicle the back floor board fills up with water. This happens when the vehicle in in motion and/or sitting still.

Convertible leaks and trunk and floorboard is wet when rains.

This recall regarding my ignition key has been resolved in 2016 by the reliable Chevrolet dealership. The dealership replaced my ignition keys with the updated correct ignition keys at no charge. Please remove this recall notice from appearing on my vehicle status and discontinue sending recall notices on this. Thank you. Charles morris.

On 9/13/2014, my wife drove my 2012 chevy Camaro zl11 to her dads, when she left she pulled out of his drive way and stopped at stop sign, she took off in first gear she said when she shifted the car into second gear the car just took off she said it acted like something just took over, like a cruise control, except no matter what she did including hitting the brake the continued to increase in speed, keep in mind this car has a 6 speed standard transmission, meaning she had one foot on throttle and one foot on cluch when this happened unlike automatic where you could have hit gas instead of brake, my wife has never had an accident or a speeding ticket, I believe something happened, with all this being said 17 days later she is in icu with 2 broken bones in her back and a piece of broken bone lodged next to her spine, this needs to be addressed next time it could be a hole family. The car has been considered total loss, but I have not released the car to insurance company at this time.

Hello, I just bought a pre-owned 2012 Chevrolet Camaro. I just found out that they do not come with a spare tire !! how on earth can gm get away with that. Instead, they give you a air pump with some guuuu to seal up the hole. They have got to be crazy. I think there should be a recall and they should give every car a spare tire. I started to have an issue with the ignition in my car. At all different times the key would stick and not turn in the car. I brought it in and told hem and they aid it was the way I was starting it. That the wheels were not straight. This was not the case as it happened at all different times and I now the wheels need to be straight. I continued to have problems until this day. A few months ago when I was at a dealership in FL where I moved I had such a bad experience and no help for a continued break issues I printed paperwork to file for a lemon law yet have not pursued this as of now. Today I received a safety recall on the ignition. This is very troubling to me as I have said since my car was new that there was something seriously wrong with this in my car yet no one would help me. Now with the recall notice and the break issue I am wanting to pursue the lemon law. Please advise on what I should do.

The convertible top has become increasingly slower when putting it up and down. There are signs on the top of the car where it latches of something grinding. Took to dealer and was advised that the top operated at normal speed when compared to a similar model. Currently operation is exceeding 20 seconds for the top to be lowered or raised. Also top is not going down all the way as the fabric obscures the mirror when driving.
