After inspecting the vehicle he noticed that the power steering fluid was low. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the technician diagnosed that the rack and pinion was leaking. As a result, the rack and pinion needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
