Vehicle was two months old with approximately 1,800 miles and the rear differential began having gear whine. Dealer told me to drive it more and see what happens. Gear whine got louder and posi unit clutches began chattering. This resulted in the rear differential being replaced at 6,000 miles. The replacement differential lasted about 2,000 miles and began chattering, so another differential was installed in the vehicle. So with 8,000 miles, I've had two differentials replaced due to internal problems. The noise was heard when temps got down in the 50's and turning left.
Grinding sound out of the rear differential. It has been back to the dealership 4 times for the same issues. Has been replaced once and it still has the same grinding noise.
