Body problem #4

The contact owns a 2017 Chevrolet Camaro. The contact stated that rainwater leaked into the vehicle on the front passenger’s side of the vehicle. The contact stated that they were unsure if the water was leaking by the rear seats of the vehicle. The contact could hear air entering the cabin of the vehicle and see some outside light entering through the top and sides of the convertible roof. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer who stated that the sound of air and hints of light entering through the seal of the convertible roof was normal. However, the leaking was repaired by replacing the seals around the roof. The contact stated the failure reoccurred during the next inclement weather. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the repair was not covered under a recall nor under warranty. The approximate failure mileage was 40,042.
