general problems of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro

Airbag service light came on, which required us to bring to the dealership. Quote to access and replace airbag module came to roughly $1350.

-the air bag light on the dashboard it's coming up, stays on, the passenger seat reader light stays on even if there is no nobody seating and when a person seats on passenger seat the passenger air bag sensor light says is off. -yes I'm available for inspection upon request. -the safety of the passenger and mine is in risk everytime I use the car. -it has never been inspected by that problem before ( but based on socialmedia grups with the same car we have the issue) -never had a check engine light on.

My air bag light keeps popping up and tells me to service the air bags system and now it does it when nobody is on the seat too, the dealer told me they found the problem and charged me 500 and some dollars and I returned the car the same day they said it was fixed cause it was doing it again , I'm scared it might deploy. I never usually have anybody with me but sometimes my wife comes with me and they say is the seat restraints and I keep getting the run around. Thank you. . . .

Was involved in a hit n run June 13 2021. My insurance claim stated my car has 2 unrepaired recalls. The emblem hit me on the forearm.

I had bought a 2017 Camaro on 5/18/2021 and on 6/13/2021 I was in a car accident and once we were hit the air bags pop out we were not going to fast and on the driver side the embrome pop out and also smoke the driver had put his arm to cover his face and he has the mark on his arm of the embrome.

We purchased a vehicle from shamley in el paso texas and we were in volved in a head on coullsion. We tried to stop and the breaks didn't function we were going 25 mph. We lost traction control and hit a car who took the red light and the air bags popped and the driver airbags emblem was marked on my forearm. May you please assist me.

Feb 2019, I received a call from the chevy dealer where I purchased my Camaro back in April 2017, stating that my vehicle has a safety recall which effect the electric power steering. I read up on the recall which stated, the electric steering can fail while operating the vehicle which will make it hard to steer. I contacted the dealer to bring my car in for service, they told me that there was no remedy for the recall and that they will reach out to me when they have one. Manufacturer recall number n182182760. Nhtsa recall number, 19v086 it is now June 2019 and on 6/16/19, I was driving my car about 15-20mph, driving around a roundabout and my steering wheel locked on me, causing me to wreck my car which caused my seat and overhead airbags to deploy along with suspension, wheel and body damage. I had the wheel turned left going around the circle and as I was trying to turn the steering wheel back to the right to exit the roundabout, my steering wheel locked, causing me to run over top of the curb striking my wheels on the edge of the steel sewer and back into the street striking the left side of my vehicle on an island exiting the roundabout which caused my airbags to deploy. Once my airbags deployed my engine and electrical was shut down automatically. I did suffer a hard impact on my left shoulder from the airbag. Gm finally came up with a remedy this month 6/2019 for the recall. A representative from the dealer gave me gm's customer service number to call and report the incident. I had to file an insurance claim with my insurance and if my car is repairable, I would have to pay my deductible and suffer higher insurance rates all because of a recall that gm fail to repair in a timely manner. Was in a wreck and not all the ir bags deployed, the wheels came apart from the tires and the wheels broke apart, and the seat broke.
