Unknown Or Other problem #1

For no apparent reason, my entire gauge cluster lights, a/c & air control knob lights, and the light for the shifter all stopped working. Also, my trip odometer does not function either. I checked the fuse panel located on the left of the steering wheel and noticed I wasn't missing any of them & none went bad either. What else could be causing this to happen? obviously it's an electrical problem of some sort.

Unknown Or Other problem #2

Front driver's side windshield has distortion in line of sight. Had new manufacturer's part installed and 2nd windshield has same issue. It causes dizziness and is very distracting.

Bought a new car so as not to have costly repairs or dangerous equiptment. . Tires should be recalled. .

Unknown Or Other problem #6

1. Convertible in the shop over 45 days. 2. Cables from top showing on driver and passenger side above windows. 3. Cable prohibits opening passenger door/makes opening driver door tough. 4. Exhaust rattles incessantly. 5. Had 2 broken bows on top at 1st. 6. Original top had a hole in it. 7. New top and 2 bows replaced. New top had wear marks in various places – when we got it back, and getting more thread bare each day. Marks were on it the day we got it back. 8. Other convertible owners state their wear went through all the way to the rivets. Other owners calling us from different parts of us to compare notes, same issues, same results with gm. Concerned top may fly off. 9. Rubber parts from top falling off/will not stay on. 10. Cannot put tonneau cover on or keep it on over 50 mph. It flys off & hits cars behind us. 11. Windshield cracked when top closed w motor drive. 12. Wind noise in it was less than our past new Camaros. Now noise level with the top up is noisy enough to have to yell when on speakerphone. At 1st, it was very quiet. 13. Large gaps on the side of the top where it meets the body when it is up – you could place your arm into the holes. Dealer fixed 2 times. 14. Spent over 2. 5g lettering the car for our business, decal-deleted, detail company waxing, tinted windshield and windows. Gm corporate says they will place us in a new hard top Camaro, but will not pay ttl, re-waxing, re-lettering car, decal deleting or tinting. Ok law states that ttl is indeed covered. 15. This is not a dealer issue, this is a gm issue. 16. Dealers cannot fix the top in a manner that gm has not put a service bulletin out on. We do not want to bring it back in until they have said bulletin. 17. We do not feel as though long gm fans should be out thousands of dollars for re-lettering, customization and ttl for getting a vehicle that they still claim that they do not know how to fix.

Paint peeling from rear fender - dealer advised that it looks exactly like the paint problems gm had in the late '80s to early '90s. Chevrolet customer service advises that they can't do anything about it.

Unknown Or Other problem #9

Power lock switch broke 1999 covered under warranty power door window switch broke 1999 covered under warranty, and again 2003 covered under my ryan extended warranty rear window hatch rubber seal went bad and separated from the car in 1999 and now again in 2003. 2 window seals on one car in 7 years. First one was covered by what I was told a silent recall. This time they are saying they never said that before and this time it is up to me to pay for the seal.

Unknown Or Other problem #10

This is a toxic car. It has a mold problem and is making me sick. The car smells like mold. We pulled out all the seats and carpet cleaned everything to try to get it out. It still smells like mold. It is not the heater or ac as the smell is coming from the back of the vehicle. There is no dampness but everything I put in the back seat ends up smelling like mold. I call it the mold mobile. After about 2 minutes, you can't smell the mold, so it makes it difficult to track. The dealership in waldorf said it would take days to locate it, but they could smell it too. It is under warranty and there must be something that can be done about this. It makes me sick to my stomach and I get headaches.

My complaint is with a gm product. . A 2002 Chevrolet Camaro. Not long after purchase (apprx) less than a few months of taking possession of my "new" vehicle the drivers side window regulator(power assisted ) was having problems. . . The regulator would stick in any position up/down and would not operate correctly . The vehicle was under warranty and was repaired. . The regulator on the passenger side then went out the same way not long after. . . Again it was repaired. This problem has re-occurred several times since 2002 to the present date as of 03/02/2010. I have spoken to many Camaro owners and the response is exactly the same. . . We all know that our vehicle (camaros) do "that" . First of all the cars are now out of warranty and the financial responsibility falls on us ! these repairs can exceed $500. 00 dollars. There is no doubt gm knows of this. I have spoken to many other Camaro owners and all say that an aftermarket window regulator solved their problem, its obviously defective window regulators permiated there stock and gm replaced them with the same defective parts. These problems occurred without incident ie; accidents, misuse etc. Failure of these components are very dangerous, if a driver becomes trapped inside his/her vehicle and cannot exit through the door normally and has to depend on the window as an exit they will become trapped inside that vehicle and could be seriously injured or killed. Not being able to roll the windows up or down when needed can be very dangerous (ie. Floods, fire,,submerged vehicle or assailant. ).
