I was driving home and a truck overpassed me on a loose sand area causing me to have to make a sudden brake and my car due to the loose sand and rocks sing around and hit a power pole and the impact to the power pole that was on the corner bounced me car back and my car did a flip and it landed on its front bumper and ultimately rolled over 4 times down a hill and landed on all four tires during the impact front airbags did not deploy my whole entire front dash board exploded and fragments flew everywhere once my car festered to roll the side airbags dropped but did not inflate, at the moment that my car hit the pole my driver seat physically came out of place and and even with my seat belt on it throw me to my backseat and caused the seat belt to me twisted around me, this same issue was allegedly fixed by three way chevy I had made a report during the time frame of june2023 when three way failed to fix my recall and fraudulently reported the recall repaired yet said no work was done to my car I was in contact with u guys already and this is unfortunately proof that supports my initial report to you from 2023 and need this investigation reopened.

2 Seats problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 07/29/2024

When someone sits in the passenger seat the airbag light/alarm goes on and off. My mechanic said I would need to take it to the dealer. I called dealer and they would need to diagnose if it is the seat belt or the seat weight sensor. Can cost upwards of $900. I just can't afford that. They should recall since I've researched so many complaints on this issue.

3 Seats problem of the 2017 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 07/22/2024

Got trapped inside the car in 100 degree weather plus humidity. The car started the whole and operated perfectly fine while a message prompted on the dash. After doing a push to start that morning before work. The car runs for 10mins until it shuts off. That morning closed myself in to get ready to head to work. Remote not detected prompted. It said it three times that day. The last time it said it I was heading home after getting food. After a push to start that’s when it trapped me inside. Called 911 in rocky mount nc. All they were worried about is a onstar button. If I had to wait on them probably would’ve been dead. Cause they have to ask a multitude of questions. Rescuers never came. While onstar was on speaker I thought to check to see if I had the app available to unlock the doors. Usually I don’t pay the bill for it thought the remote way was better. Due to the fact that the app takes a while to upload and could update at anytime as well as signal issues in certain places. Luckily it was setup on autopay. Although it did take a little while to load I was kind of at ease knowing onstar was still on the speaker. Spoke with a gm specialist about doing a recall. Instead expressed that, that’s if my vehicle is even eligible for an upgrade. Had suggested the installation of physical unlock levers instead they ignored the suggestion. This is a deadly safety hazard not only for myself but for others as well. Especially if they are not alert about it. When I found that the key fob wasn’t rechargeable inside the vehicle after being trapped inside it. I bought a battery from the chevy company that was brand new but still a dead battery. Which caused me not to be able to start the vehicle at all. The only thing that help was recharging the battery on the apple watch charger by removing the battery from the key fob. Not everyone knows that and still isn’t a good and or safe reliable method to use cause of uncertainty of battery life. Let the car go back for this reason.

The "safety restraint system" service warning kept coming on the dash. The Chevrolet place said they would have to change the "connectors" on the sensor under the passenger seat. So I had to pay them $100 to fix this. My passenger could have been in danger of not having an airbag deploy if needed if I was to get in a wreck! yes the problem was confirmed by westgate Chevrolet in burgaw, nc.

6 Seats problem of the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 03/07/2022

The steering wheel I have for starters, is not the correct one that is suppose to be with the vehicle. It should say “camaro” on the center of the steering wheel instead of having a Chevrolet logo on it. It’s also not symmetrical to the vehicle interior, it’s too big for where it is placed and doesn’t match up with the drive train. It poses a risk because it starts to shake after I go a certain speed and is also wobbly when I first start driving like something is loose inside of it. The seats also are not the original seats that the vehicle came with and have been replaced by idk what brand it is but it’s not a safe one because there are visible wires underneath the seat that aren’t covered and it causes me back pain after driving for the smallest amount of time. I have to reach far back to retrieve my seatbelt and it’s very inconvenient due to the strain it puts on me. I bought the car from this allegiances motors place and they allegedly inspected it and also did a safety inspection but they have not yet provided me with a legal safety inspection sticker and when I went in person about the issues I’m having they said buying was wrong with the vehicle. They coerced me in to signing a paper stating the airbags being deployed were unknown so I’m possibly driving around with no air bags in the vehicle which is highly alarming ne has I do drive with children in the backseat. It seems like all the components are slowly malfunctioning especially when I do not respond to the text messages of the car salesmen I bought the car from. They won’t provide me with any information regarding the air bags and let me know what they’re going to do in regards to fixing the visible wiring problem and ensuring I’m driving around with air bags that haven’t been deployed. Also, when I put my VIN number in the system it showed me a picture of a convertible which is also pictured on the owners manual that came with the car, and it’s not a convertible. It’s just a regular ol coupe.

8 Seats problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 01/18/2021

While driving on a rural road, approx. 55 mph, twice my driver side electric seat started to move forward and up by itself. It will now only move up and forward not backward. The seat is now in a position while driving to high to see safely and forward where my foot is now pushing on the gas causing unsafe conditions. Since that day (1/18/2021) googling the internet I see a safety recall back in 2014 for this same safety issue and can happen all by itself. Can I take it in to be fixed without cost to me ?.

17 Seats problem of the 2011 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 09/17/2018

I received a letter in the mail in 2015 regarding the adjustable seat for the passenger and driver seats. The recall involved a problem in which the seat was fallen to the lowest position. When I received the letter, I did not have any problems, but in my attempt to be responsible I took my car to the dealership. Recently I faced the problem, the lever to adjust the incline of the seat is stuck, and my seat is in its lowest position. It's inclined all the way to the back. I contacted gm and they said the repair was going to be covered through the recall, so I made an appointment and took my car to the dealership. My car was in the dealer for 1 1/2 weeks, and it was not repaired. I received a text and they said it was going to cost me $381 to repair. Then I contact the headquarters of gm and they explained my car was not going to be fixed because it was checked back in 2015 (when it worked fine). Then they said they were going to contact me in 3 business days to provide me with a coupon to lower the price of the repair. Today I received a call from another representative and she mentioned they do not offer coupons. I asked everyone for a written statement explaining why my car was not repair and they did not provide it; therefore, I please ask for your help to work through this recall and get my car repaired. Fortunately, when my seat got stuck in its lower position due to the lever not working the car was stationary; however, it's unsafe to drive the car without having a seat backrest.

19 Seats problem of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Failure Date: 12/26/2016

Manual driver's seatback went forward on its own & stuck in forward position and trunk popped on its own while stationary. 2010 Camaro 2lt hadn't been driven over christmas break. While out strolling, my husband stops to crank the car since it had been sitting for a couple of weeks. He got in, cranked it. No trouble. A week later I went to drive it to work, used remote key to unlock doors and noticed the seatback was stuck close to the steering wheel. I tried latch on seat's back and side lever, but couldn't get the seatback to move. I called to tell my husband I was taking our other vehicle to work and asked if he'd raised the seatback the day he cranked the car for good measure. He didn't recall doing so. Later that evening, we went to look at the car together, used the remote to unlock the doors. He tried moving the seatback and couldn't. He noticed the trunk was popped and asked if I'd popped it. I didn't think so, but maybe I hit the wrong button when unlocking the doors. He slammed the trunk shut. We thought perhaps he forgot to lock the car and someone had rummaged through our car and jammed the seat. A brief online search revealed other Camaro owners w/ same issue. The seatback had gone forward on its own. I thought, if seatbacks are moving forward on their own what happens if someone's driving. Unsafe! I visited NHTSA online and saw pictures are helpful. I went home to take a pic. This time the remote didn't unlock the doors, so I used the key. After photos, I noticed that the trunk was popped again. No way I hit the wrong button, the remote wasn't working. I checked trunk and noted the inside lights weren't on. The car's battery had drained from the trunk being open for extended periods of time on two separate occasions. Seatback moving forward on its own and trunk popping on its ownnot a coincidence. Both are serious safety concerns.

The car was service on 3/10/15 & replaced propeller shaft flange nut, clean & apply thread adjusted rear camber on rr and rear toe adjusted rf camber & adjusted front toe. On 3/16/15, car was serviced due to cracking noise from underneath & the differential carrier drain or plug replacement was made; in addition added friction modifier to rear differential to reduce noise, on this repair attempt I was also given a new 2015 Camaro which also had squeaking noise coming from the passenger which I informed mac haik of and they stated they needed to check all vehicles to see if this was an issue. On 3/27/15, car made knocking noise on stopping & take off the car was driving with gm tech brian who heard the same noise coming from the front of car. Per repair order it stated that the noise was not able to be duplicated, however was advised by techs that all suspension was taken down & placed back together, swooshing noise that I hear when backing up both were not able to be duplicated per mac haik. On 5/5/15, the radiator hose came loose per the repair order clamps were not placed on properly. I have all records of speaking with gm reps as well as mac haik reps and to no avail was I able to get help. I have an attorney as of today and gm was giving one final attempt to make the car right on 5/21/15 for all issues with the car: swooshing noise, cluncking noise while driving, wobbling noise when driving at 50mph or more, clicking noise when putting car in gear, car smells of overheat, on left turn heard a loud spring popping noise from car. The car was giving back to me on 5/22/15, and per the tech there was not repaired, simply just looked at.
