While driving at a speed of 45 mph, my 2011 Camaro with perelli p zero, 275/40-zr20 06y left tire blew out from hitting a pair of needle nose pliers in the road. The pliers went completly through the tread and I heard a pop as if the tire had been shot. The vehicle swerved approximately 30 degrees to left then back to the right violently. I was in the center lane of a 3 lane highway and no other vehicle was on either side of the Camaro. It was difficult to regain control of the vehicle due to the immediate loss of tire pressure. This incident was reported to Chevrolet on 15 July 2011 by letter. It occurred in tucson arizona.
