Two problems related to door latch have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While on vacation consumer was loading luggage in rear right door, and door shut on consumer's finger. Door would not release from outside, it took three people took get consumer's hand out, consumer felt door latch had a defect. It was a rental car.
