12 problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Cavalier. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When stopping quickly (panic stop) brake pedal becomes hard and does not stop the car. Loud crunching noises are present and car proceeds another 50ft before stopping. Taken to dealer at least 4 times-they cannot "duplicate" the problem. I have almost been in two accidents as a result of this brake problem.
