: the contact stated there were NHTSA recalls campaign 98v027000 regarding the interior lighting and 98v319000 regarding the rear suspension. The vehicle had the same problems as indicated in the recall; however, it was not included in the recall due to the VIN. There was a loss of the interior lighting, and an intermittent clanking noise coming from the rear suspension.
The instrument panel lighting failed.
Dash lights go out intermittently while driving. Dealer cannot find cause.
Popping sound and feel when turning steering wheel has been worked on two times for this problem; interior lights do not turn on when opening drivers door; top portion of dash is split in the middle; makes lots of crackling noise, sounds like something is loose with the suspension.
Interior dome light comes on without reason while vehicle is in operation. Dealership informed conusmer vehicle was not a part of recall 98v027000. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
When driving at night the instrument panel lights go out, also when putting vehicle in reverse the instrument panel lights go out, consumer took vehicle to dealer, and dealer indicated there was an electrical problem, had this problem repaired 4 times, but it has reoccurred. . Consumer also states the traction off light stays on all the time and bells ting at 65 mph.
Car was parked for about 10 hours. When started and put in drive, "ets off" light flashed and then remained on steady. Along with this, the check engine light also stayed on. Both lights remained on for duration of drive home from work, approximately 25 minutes. Engine sounds fine, no strange noises, but warning lights still remain on. Taking it to a mechanic to be checked out.
Was driving and started to smell burning plastic. Parked vehicle and checked it out. Noticed, after removing dome light, a hole in roof due to light bulb. Ceiling was burned. Contacted insurance company and was referred to dealership for estimate of cost.
While driving the interior lights come on for no apparent reason. The lights stay on for about 5 minutes before they go off. The dealer was not able to detect what the problem was with the vehicle.
Dome light failed.
Failure of the driver's and passenger's side seats, the driver's and passenger's side seats did not lock, the consumer was involved in a rear end collision and the passenger's side seat moved forward. Also, clutch pedal clicks when depressed/front end misaligned, causing vehicle to pull to the left/dome light inoperative at times when opening left door.
Dome light burned a hole on roof because it did not have a top or protective cover which could have caused fire.
