One problem related to engine and engine cooling has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet C/k 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle stopped running while driving,almost involved in accident since I was going downhill. Vehicle would not restart. Restarted two hours later after tow to garage. Dealer inspected and found faulty crank sensor code. Dealer found NHTSA recall # 07v521000 was just issued, however my serial # was not recalled. I believe all 2001 models with this power train should be recalled to repair this defective part.
