The contact had to replace the driver's side door handle. It started as being difficult to open the door, but progressively got worse over a period of a couple weeks. Eventually the door handle would no longer open the door. The dealer replaced the door handle. This corrected the problem.
The cables that hold my 1997 chevy tailgate up continues to break because of poor construction material. I was standing on the tailgate when both cables gave way because of corrision, the sudden drop of the tailgate made me fall on the ground. This will be the fourth set of cables that I have had to purchase for this truck.
