Four problems related to engine cooling system have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet C/k Pickups. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Intake manifold leaking coolant.
Intake coolant leak on a 1998 k1500 $850 for a temporary fix.
Intake manifold leaking oil and coolant at 54,000 miles. Will cost me over $400. 00 to have repaired. I know of many other 1998 k-1500 trucks w/ vortec 350 with the same issue.
Leaking intake manifold gasket.
