One problem related to tailgate has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet C/k Pickups. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Load of plywood fell from the pickup when the tailgate cable broke. The car behind me did not get hit by the load of plywood but had to avoid the load by swerving. The plywood was damaged and the tailgate was destroyed.
