| Front Suspension Shock Absorber problems | |
| Front Suspension Wheel Bearing problems |
Whenever vehicle goes over a bump it will bounce all over the road. Consumer took vehicle in on August 6, 2001 to get shock absorbers put on. On August 8, 2001 shockabsorbers were still not on.
Front passenger wheel bearing assembly failed at 33,000 with an out of pocket cost to me of $300. This is on a 2001 Chevrolet silverado extended cab. There were no consequences of the failure as I had it replaced. However the consequences could be life threatening should repairs not be performed in time. While at the Chevrolet dealership the service manager explained to me they replace this item to the tune of 2 or 3 vehicles every other day! I don't know how many people would report this issue to you but if the service manager was truthful there is a gigantic problem with these.
