One problem related to service brakes has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet C/k Pickups. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I own a 2001 chevy silverado extended cab 4x4, there was a recall around 2005 for the abs engaging at slow speeds. The service was completed in 2006. About 6 months ago, the abs started doing it again. The dealer said they already did the recall service so I need to pay for the repairs this time. I believe that if the original recall service didn't fix the problem, that it should be fixed again. Truck has around 104,000 miles on it. The abs started working improperly at about 100,000 miles. I have had no crashes yet because of this.
