Occasionally they do not come on and at other times, when they do come on, they will not shut off. The vehicle was inspected and there were no recalls related to the his year, make or model vehicle. I hate to sound repetitive ,but I also have a 1998 chevy silverado 4x4 that has a windshield wiper motor problem. I also think that gm should step-up and fix this problem because when it happens to so many of the same vehicles I feel as though it's a factory defect. This has been happening for a long time. The truck doesn't have but 61,000 miles on it. I confronted them about it and they wouldn't help me out. That's why I have a Toyota ,that's made in the USA, sitting in my driveway. God bless the USA !!!.

I have a 1996 chevy pickup. The wipers kept on turning off when raining. I have talked to my local chevy dealer if there was a recall as well chevy company and the both said no. I have seen recalls on this complaint on other vehicles (chevy p/u) on the same year. But my VIN doesn't have a recall. Windshield wiper motor controller circuit board. When I was coming in to work this morning at 0430 in the rain the wiper turned off and would come back on.
