No warning indicators were illuminated. The failure recurred on several occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that there was an issue with the ignition switch and the key. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The failure mileage was 70,000.
